OK for me: 64 bit, on Plasma, swedish Clean upgrade, settings, accounts and mails still there. Using Offline IMAP and SMTP Keep using it.

mga8, x64 en_GB Updated fine. Quit running instance and invoked version 91. It came up with all data intact. Gmail SMTP/IMAP. Don't use the calendar facility but tested it with a trivial reminder task, which worked.

Hi, Updated ok. I have received mails, send, calendar, events and task ok, addons ok. I have noticed that since version 91 not all texts are well translated into Spanish. For example in the menu appears "addons and themes" instead of "Complementos y temas" and "Preferences" instead of "Preferencias". I tried the official version and it's the same. Thunderbird should be notified of these translation errors. Works fine from Mageia 8 x64 Plasma. Greetings!!

XFCE 64 Updated Thunderbird ok. I can send and receive mail, synchronize and modify calendar and contacts. Language FR and spelling correction are good

MGA8-64 Plasma on Lenovo B50 No installation issues No language issues apparently (running in Dutch) This testsystem did not have a previous Thunderbird session, so used the wizard to setup my hotmail account n it, worked perfectly. I've been able to send and receive mail without and with attachment to my regular email account. I noticed a delay when trying to select a 5.1Mb picture to attach. Being impatient I clicked on the file selector a few times, but in the end, the file was attached and sent OK. At the CLI I got multiple messages like: ###!!! [Parent][DispatchAsyncMessage] Error: PClientManager::Msg_ExpectFutureClientSource Processing error: message was deserialized, but the handler returned false (indicating failure) IPDL protocol error: Handler returned error code! The number of those might correspond with the number of times I made the file selector jump forward and backwards. In the end all worked OK.

Gnome x64 update from existing Thunderbird 78. No installation issues, no language issues (running well in French). Previous parameters and account are present. Tested sending and receiving emails with attached file -> no problems.
