Mozilla has released Thunderbird 91.1.1 on September 16:

OK for me on mga8 64 Plasma Swedish
Clean update from 91.1.0-1.mga8
IMAP & SMTP to servers.
Several accounts, many tenhousands mails.
 (yes i did take backup)
I keep using it in production.

I have not seen a bad net result yet, but,
In konsole from started thunderbird i get the sequence per below each time i select a mail (IMAP offline)
