Description of problem: When changing the Terminal Font to 'Fixed Regular 9' the terminal shows the correct font in the Preview, but when clicking 'OK' the Font selection shows 'Liberation Mono 9' and that's what the terminal uses. Note: on Mandriva the 'Fixed' fonts worked perfectly and they are much better to read than the Liberation Mono fonts. Also note: I have disable the 'Use the system fixed width font' checkmark. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-terminal-3.0.0-3.mga1 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. new install of mageia 1 (gnome) 2. start gnome-terminal 3. Edit -> Profile Preferences (Tab: General) 4. uncheck 'Use the system fixed width font' 5. click the font selection and choos 'Fixed, Regular, 9' 6. press 'OK' to end the dialog
found that the 'Fixed' seems to be a generalization like 'Sans' or 'Serif' now and that the 'Fixed' Font can be found as 'MiscFixed' ... my fault! sorry for the noise!
