updated radeon-firmware: - amdgpu: add initial vangogh support - amdgpu: update all firmwares from 21.30 - amdgpu: revert back to older picasso, raven(2) sdma firmware because of random stability issues SRPM: radeon-firmware-20210812-1.mga8.nonfree.src.rpm noarch: radeon-firmware-20210812-1.mga8.nonfree.noarch.rpm note, to test this properly, after installing it, recreate initrd with: dracut -f to get it in initrd, and reboot
MGA8-64 Plasma on Lenovo B50 No innstallation issues. Run dracut and reboot. All OK This laptop has intel graphics as primary , and Radeon as secondary (I've never been able to make the latter one work). Checked in xorg.conf: the intel driver is used. So this test is not conclusive, but at least it does not harm my setup.

Tested fine on three more Mageia 8 x86_64 systems myself (three different generation Radeons, HD 4650, R9 270X, RX 5700).

Dell Inspiron 5100, 32-bit P4, radeon RV200 graphics. This system should not be affected by these change, and in fact I'm not even sure it uses any of this firmware. But it is a Radeon gpu, and I don't see where it's done any harm. Going to call it OK for 32 bits. Validating.
