Description of problem: previously working (older Mandriva) dual head setup stops working with Mageia Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): x11-driver-video-mga-1.4.13-4.mga1 x11-server-xorg-1.10.1-1.mga1 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. drakx11 configure Xinerama for Matrox G400 2. start/test Xorg 3. Xorg fails with: (EE) MGA(1): Unable to map BAR 0. Invalid argument (22) note that the BAR mapping for MAG(0) works just fine. switching off Xinerama leaves a mirror mode active and no RandR, so no chance to setup the second display this way.

I rebuilt the x11-driver-video-mga-1.4.13-6.mga1 with the following patch added: http://patch-tracker.debian.org/patch/series/dl/xserver-xorg-video-mga/1:1.4.13.dfsg-4/02_tentatively_unbreak_dual_head.diff after that, the dual screen setup works again, although there are other issues with the original setup (like Xinerama disabling XRandR and TexturedVideo blitting in the wrong places) but a hand tailored xorg.conf allows for a working setup.
