64-bit package list from http://madb.mageia.org/tools/listRpmsForQaBug/bugnum/29284/application/0: lib64skgbankgui2-2.26.1-1.mga8.x86_64.rpm lib64skgbankmodeler2-2.26.1-1.mga8.x86_64.rpm lib64skgbasegui2-2.26.1-1.mga8.x86_64.rpm lib64skgbasemodeler2-2.26.1-1.mga8.x86_64.rpm skrooge-2.26.1-1.mga8.x86_64.rpm 64-bit Plasma system, so skrooge already installed. Packages downloaded using qarepo. No installation issues. I have zero experience with skrooge, so I went to the Web for guidance. After viewing a couple of videos on basic operation, I logged onto my bank's website and downloaded a Quicken-format (qif) file detailing transactions for one of my credit cards for the entire year 2021. (Actually could be useful, as it's tax time in the U.S.) I imported the quicken file into skrooge by right-clicking on the file in Dolphin, and the confirmation message popped up, to which I said "yes." Skrooge imported the file and set up an "account" for it. I played around with it, looking at the information in Operations and Payees. There was nothing in "Categories," as I did not go through the report and assign a category to the individual transactions. Clicking on other tabs, I did come across a spot where the word "reconcile" was used, so that part of the changelog seems to be correct. Skrooge is a powerful and complex application, and would take a while to master. As far as I went it looks like it's working as designed, but there is much that I cannot test competently. Even so I'm going to give this an OK, and validate it. The advisory is in Comment 5.
