If you run strawberry in a terminal, you see this output: ERROR: Caught a segmentation fault while loading plugin file: /usr/lib64/gstreamer-1.0/gstkamosoqt5videosink.so Please either: - remove it and restart. - run with --gst-disable-segtrap --gst-disable-registry-fork and debug
Also affected other packages, as reported on the dev ml: https://ml.mageia.org/l/arc/dev/2021-04/msg00055.html
Is this bug still valid on current stable mga9 release ? Note that there is a new kamoso 23.04.3 in 9/core/pdates_testing repo.

Can't reproduce in VM Mageia 9 x86_64 lxqt with current version of kamoso and strawberry Can't reproduce in RH Mageia 9 x86_64 with current version of kamoso and strawberry, neither testing version of kamoso
I can't reproduce it with the testing version of kamoso, either. I didn't think to test before updating. It's a Mageia 8 bug that may have been fixed by simply upgrading to Mageia 9. I think it can probably be closed, but we really ought to have Luigi's input.

If it's not reproducible, you can close it as OLD.
I just tried in my last remaining Mageia 8 Plasma guest, and it didn't reproduce there, either. I did have to install it first, and it did pull in a gstreamer package with it, but not the one reported in comment 0. Closing this bug as OLD.
