Description of problem: I wanted to uninstall/reinstall GIMP (which worked not so bad ..) and downloaded the package v2.10.24. Now I cannot launch it anymore. It sends Me the message: "Liblcms2 version mismatch! GIMP was compiled against LittleCMS version 2.2, but the LittleCMS version found at runtime is only 2.0. Somehow you or your software packager managed to install a LittleCMS that is older than what GIMP was built against. Please make sure that the installed LittleCMS version is at least 2.2 and that headers and library match." If I uninstall/reinstall lcms, I get no result. What's wrong ? Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): - V2.10.24 - How reproducible: - Always - Steps to Reproduce: 1) Uninstall GIMP 2) Reinstall from MCC interface 3) Try to open GIMP

Howdy Marja, I'm just back from holidays and I took a lot of time for answering you ! Before your analysis, I was convinced I was using Mageia 8 : in fact, I never installed Mageia 8, I installed Cauldron as soon as it was available, and after that I just installed regularly all the upgrades "au fil de l'eau", until my systems displayed the official Mageia 8 welcome screen (but the "Mageia Welcome" gadget itself doesn't work anymore :-/). Otherwise I did exactly what you asked and GIMP works now like a charm. Thanks a lot ! Rgds, MiA.
Thanks for the feedback, Michel, Closing this report.
