Caveat: 2 packages, binutils and perl-DBD-MariaDB, were selected from updates_testing, but not contained in the package list. A subsequent try to downgrade perl-DBD-MariaDB failed, see also attached Bug https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29065. binutils is downgraded successfully. Ulrich
perl-DBD-MariaDB can't be "downgraded" it is "new" but required to fix #29065 - so I pushed it to updates and not as "backport". binutils is not an required update from this - so it should work without updating this package.

Confirming comment 8. # urpmq --requires mariadb-common-10.5.11-2.mga8.x86_64 2>/dev/null|grep DBD perl(DBD::MariaDB)) If it isn't included in the package list, perl-DBD-MariaDB-1.210.0-6.mga8.src.rpm would stay in core updates testing after the rest of the packages were moved to core updates, and then fail to install on regular systems.
