Description of problem: When trying to update my firmware, I get an error message, reproduced below. This bug has been addressed upstream with commit 197d3dc3b9acb93be30c4a7f49e8c0ad3f554818. Error message: Upgrade available for System Firmware from 1.7.0 to 1.8.0 XPS 13 7390 must remain plugged into a power source for the duration of the update to avoid damage. Continue with update? Solved installing fwupd-efi package.
Had the same issue. Still the same in mga9 - we should add this package as required
