When trying to set a custom UID or GID in the Mageia installer, I'm getting the error message "UID must be a number", even if - at least in my world - 501,601, 1001 or 10001 are numbers...

According to bug 120, this affects the firewall section on the Summary page, users can't type a custom port in the Advanced section in the firewall setup.

Yesdterday I wan't try to install a cooker. Th e cooker have the same problem.

I have this problem with Mageia next week. Il't for all number : IP (192.168.8.134), gid, gid...

Confirmed bug for beta 1.  

The install is completely blocked once one tries to set the id number, there is no way to come back, except a reboot.

You can delete the numbers and than go back.
