Hello, gocr package is missing and so one cannot use OCR function of xsane. OCR works very bad but it is better to propose by default this feature. You need only to add "gocr" and its dependence "libnetpbm10" as a dependence of xsane. Thanks in advance.

How about adding gocr as a suggests of a requires? After all, xsane works fine without it.

Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.
