Description Thomas Backlund 2021-04-11 17:27:09 CEST
This provides an update gcc 10.3.0 (up from 10.2.1-0.20210130.1) from the gcc-10 stable branch fixing various issues reported upstream.

gcc 10 branch is api/abi stable so it does not change any behaviour so possible regressions should not really exist (famous last words...)

For testers.... simply install the packages and keep using the system.

The same compiler and libs are in use in Cauldron.

So all packages built in Mga8 updates_testing and Cauldron since April, 8th around 21.00 UTC+1 are already built with theeses packages...

Running for two days now on a 64-bit Plasma system. No issues noted. Will install on real 32-bit hardware later today.

No issue with my system, note I force a dkms rebuild for nvidia-current and it builds correctly.

MGA8-64-OK for me.

Dell Inspiron 5100, P4, Radeon RV200 graphics, Atheros-based wifi, 32-bit Xfce system.

No installation issues. Did this update first, then a reboot, then went after the mesa and x11-server updates. No issues noted anywhere. Going to call this OK for 32-bits.

Whiteboard: (none) => MGA8-32-OK

Comment 5 Thomas Andrews 2021-04-15 17:14:39 CEST
Two 64-bit Plasma systems:

HP Probook 6550b, i3 M350, Intel graphics, Intel wifi.
Dell Dimension e520, Core2Quad, AMD HD 8570 (Oland chip) graphics, rtl8192cu wifi.

No installation issues on either machine. Have been running the Probook for 2 days without issues, and the Dell for an hour.

Looks OK here. Validating.
