Description of problem:

Impossible to connect on Element ( https://app.element.io/#/welcome ) with the firefox ESR packaged by Mageia while the connection works with the ESR version downloaded on the mozilla website : https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/78.9.0esr/linux-x86_64/fr/firefox-78.9.0esr.tar.bz2

As you will see, there are noticeable differences in the "Important Modified Preferences" section in the files produced from the "Troubleshooting Information" available to you.

Mageia 8, LXDE, firefox-78.9.0-1.mga8
For me, that URL works, and those it leads to:
 https://app.element.io/#/welcome
 https://app.element.io/#/login
 https://app.element.io/#/register

However, we have other complaints about our Firefox not working in certain specific situations, where the upstream one does work. So I am assigning this bug accordingly.

Hi,

the current package in Core Updates Testing which fix the sandboxing and Rust didn't solves this bug.

It works with the version in Core Updates Testing :
media/core/updates_testing/firefox-78.10.0-1.3.mga8.x86_64.rpm

Should we wait to land in Core Updates before closing this bug report as resolved ?
