Description of problem: I open Gnome-Photos and when I finish with the program I close it well with the button, well in the bar with the option to leave. I open again it after a while and no longer opens. I open the monitor of the system, I end it from there and I can open it again
Edited the Summary as how I understand the description. Not tested myself.
CC: (none) => friSummary: Do not reopen => Gnome-Photos do not shut down entirely, and then do not appear when user wants to launch it again - unless first closed forcefully.
Thank you, if I think it's more correct
Thank you for the report. This is what I found: Starting gnome-photos, then ending it with the top-right 'X' or Alt/F4 closes its window, but leaves it running: $ gnome-photos (org.gnome.Photos:17017): Gtk-WARNING **: 21:48:45.957: Theme parsing error: gtk.css:2:33: Failed to import: Error opening file /home/lewis/.config/gtk-3.0/window_decorations.css: No such file or directory (org.gnome.Photos:17017): Grilo-WARNING **: 21:48:48.004: [registry] ../src/grl-registry.c:1519: Plugin 'grl-flickr' not available (org.gnome.Photos:17017): gnome-photos-WARNING **: 21:48:48.004: Unable to activate Grilo's Flickr plugin: Plugin “grl-flickr” not available (org.gnome.Photos:17017): gnome-photos-WARNING **: 21:48:49.585: Unable to fetch the list of available renderers: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name com.intel.dleyna-renderer was not provided by any .service files (org.gnome.Photos:17017): gnome-photos-WARNING **: 21:48:50.341: Unable to create GomMiner proxy for org.gnome.OnlineMiners.Flickr: Error calling StartServiceByName for org.gnome.OnlineMiners.Flickr: Process org.gnome.OnlineMiners.Flickr received signal 5 $ ps -ax | grep photos 17017 pts/1 SLl+ 0:06 gnome-photos Re-launching it does nothing, but adds the following console O/P: (org.gnome.Photos:17017): gnome-photos-CRITICAL **: 21:50:35.443: photos_application_create_window: assertion 'gexiv2_registered_namespace' failed Killing the process enables it to re-launch. Assigning this to the Gnome group.
