Description Omer I.S. 2021-03-26 14:03:39 CET
Description of problem:
The Mageia KDE theme uses the default Breeze splashscreen for the first created user.

How reproducible:
Install Mageia on a virtual machine and log into the first created user.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Mageia and make a user using the Mageia classical installation media (in or not in a virtual machine).
2. Log into the user you made

Or:
1. Log into the first user account you made and see the default Breeze splashscreen.

Considering Cauldron to be pretty unstable, we don't support this at this time.

On Mageia 8:
Not reproduced with Live ISO and Classic ISO, when installing only Plasma.

Noteworthy: I don't change any settings about

Can you go to systemsettings5 => Workspace => Startup and Shutdown => Splash Screen, then click on "Default" button in bottom left corner of the dialogue.

Thank you, now the Mageia splashscreen works, but I could reproduce it in many installations.

Assigning,

Mageia KSplash theme should not have "Breeze" word in metadatas that confuses systemsettings5 panel to really deal with our theme.
