Description Neil Darlow 2011-09-27 12:02:01 CEST
Description of problem: Amarok initially shows an incomplete episode list for a newly added feed (recent items are missing). Unsubscribing from the feed presents multiple confirmation dialogs in succession (three or more). Adding the feed again results in a podcast channel icon being shown but you cannot expand it to view the episode list.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): amarok-2.4.1-1.1.mga1

How reproducible: Every time this feed is added.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add the feed specified above and update it
2. Compare the episodes listed with that shown by e.g. firefox and note some missing
3. Unsubscribe the feed and delete downloaded episodes.
4. The confirmation dialog may be presented several times.
5. Add the feed again and note that you cannot expand the icon to show the episode list.

I have an openSUSE install with the same version of KDE and amarok and it does not exhibit this behaviour. It seems to be mageia specific.

hum i can't reproduce here :/
First After adding the feed i can see ep 61 -> 48 (same as shown by firefox)
I have only one confirmation dialog for removing the feed
I can also expand the icon by adding the feed again.

I moved away and recreated my amarok configuration files and database. After this I was able to add the feed successfully.

So this can be closed, right ?
Comment 4 Neil Darlow 2011-10-04 08:44:21 CEST
I think so. I'll put it down to Amarok quirkiness corrupting its configuration or data (not the first time I bet). There are other, better, things to investigate.
