Hi, thank you taking time to request this enhancement. We'd rather accept to improve User Experience for sure. But, as long as these Desktop-specific Packages Managers have such already reported bugs: - https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28354 - https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27647 This is NO, for KDE Team, and even GNOME Team. We can't accept that a Package Manager installs flatpak application WITHOUT proposing Mageia's RPM. Because we can't guarantee security in these flatpak, we can't do this for now. But, as soon as these PM CAN let's user choice, RPM or flatpak, we will provide them by default. (Not running GUI as root, blabla). This ON HOLD.

Hi, what do you say about adding Discover and GNOME Software to the application catalog on the Welcome program?
Unfortunately Aurelien is no longer on board due to work. I think a big problem is that at least Discover prefer to install from flatpak repos instead of from our repo. But it may be a good idea to have something on Welcome screen, but with information on that problem. Maybe a short explanation there and a link to a dedicated page on our wiki. Currently we only have https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Ways_to_install_programs#Flatpak
