Description of problem: When launching VirtualBox under GNOME desktop, the icon on the dash is invisible as well as VM icons.

The Virtual Box icon is visible when pinned as favourite. It is the icon of the launched application that is invisible.

Problem occurs with GNOME vanilla dash and dash-to-panel extension.

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Under GNOME desktop pinned it as favourite. The icon is visible
2. launch VirtualBox. A new icon is created in the dash for the launched VirtualBox but is invisible.

I used dash-to-panel because the problem is easier to show. But same problem with GNOME vanilla dash.

Hi, thanks for reporting this.
Assigned to the package maintainer.
Added GNOME maintainers, as this issue appears only on GNOME.

Packagers: feel free to reassign consequently.
Reporter: Thanks for the provided screenshot, this always helps.

(Please set the status to 'assigned' if you are working on it)
