It's good with the Appimage.
Musescore can export in wave.
Comment 2 Aurelien Oudelet 2021-02-21 19:48:05 CET
@Bernard,

Can you provide as an attachment a musescore file (if it does not exceed 1 Mb)?

Whereas OGG Vorbis are free codec, musescore should correctly export to this format.

I suppose about comment 1 that AppImage can export to ogg. (you wrote wave).

Thank you for that score! And for reporting the problem.

With mscore-3.5.2-3.mga8:
After exporting it in the 4 music formats I recognised, it gave:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lewis lewis        0 Chw  21 21:38 Poupee.flac
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lewis lewis  1553135 Chw  21 21:35 Poupee.mp3
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lewis lewis        0 Chw  21 21:36 Poupee.ogg
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lewis lewis 17111084 Chw  21 21:43 Poupee.wav
popping its failure message for the 2 null files.
(I could not in fact get either of the other 2 to play audibly with any player, though they advanced visibly; perhaps there was a sound level adjustment elsewhere to make - but the systray sound thing was at max also).
Players only 'saw' the 2 non-empty files, did not even list the two empty ones.

Assigning to DavidG, main new version committer; CC'ing akien, its listed maintainer.
