Description of problem: Dolphin's terminal panel doesn't show a colored output on successive opening of Dolphin if the terminal panel was active before closing Dolphin. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): dolphin-20.12.0-5.mga8 How reproducible: almost always Steps to Reproduce: 1.In a clean test user session with Plasma DE 2.Start Dolphin from menu panel(default Dolphin configuration will not have the terminal panel enabled) 3.Turn on the terminal panel in Dolphin (press F4 or Dolphin Menu>Show panels>Terminal). The terminal should show up with colored output. 4.Close and reopen Dolphin from the start menu or any desktop entry for Dolphin(like Trash/Home). The terminal panel in the new instance of Dolphin is not colored anymore and successive enabling/disabling of the terminal in this new instance of Dolphin doesn't restore colored output of the terminal. OTOH, starting Dolphin from a terminal( konsole/xterm ) doesn't present this problem at all, which may be some kind of workaround for the time being. System is an x86_64 install with up to date packages, running Plasma DE/SDDM. For any additional info needed let me know. Regards.

Reproduced. Workaround: Unset the default new behaviour of Dolphin that restore the previous view of the last Dolphin window in Dolphin Preferences => Startup. Choose to view your Home directory instead of "Folders, tabs, window state of last time". Thanks reporting this. Upstream bug. Reporting now. Assigning here to KDE Maintainers.
