sda3 and sda4 are primary partitions created after the extended partition sda2 took all of the space following sda1. Those two are physically in between sda7 and sda8, and overlap sda2. sdb8 is physically before sdb9, so just out of sequence. This shouldn't cause any problems, but be very careful what partitioning software you use. Anything from M$ will likely make a complete mess. When the error message was displayed, did it stop the kernel from installing? If the kernel still installed ok, you can ignore the message. If you choose to fix the sequence, I strongly recommend making a full backup first.

A duplicate. (The other bug got the diskdrake maintainer's attention before this one, so...). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1164 ***
