Description of problem: The system hangs during boot up and will not proceed to find the hardware. There is a error message with the radeon driver. I think the problem is ldetect-lst - 06.24.1 Hardware list for the light detection library. I am only able to boot into the system when the recovery mode is selected. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Card:ATI Radeon HD 6400 and later (radeon/fglrx): Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI]|Tahiti XT [Radeon HD 7970/8970 OEM / R9 280X] [DISPLAY_VGA] (vendor:1002 device:6798 subv:174b subd:3001) How reproducible: Every time I boot up. Recovery mode is the only way to fully boot the system. Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Created attachment 12267 [details] Screen shot of the boot process when it hangs. This screen shot shows the error message and how far the system has progressed before it hangs and goes no further.
