Description of problem: To add repository in Discover, you need to tick the boxes on the list proposed in Discover settings (see url). To add more than one repo, you will need to tick all the boxes you want. Each time you tick a box, the list scrolls back to the top and you have to scroll down again to reach your previous position and to tick the additional boxes. As it is a long list, it is quite cumbersome. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia8 beta2 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install and Launch Discover 2.Go to the Settings menu 3.Scroll down to select Mageia 8 - x86_64 - Nonfree , for instance 4.The list comes back to the top
Thank you for the report. That screenshot is almost illegible. In future, can you please attach a regular screenshot directly to the bug. I happen to be running M7, but can confim that the same thing happens here. Except the bottom LH menu, and window title are correctly described as "Sources". The M8 "Settings" looks wrong. I will look from there shortly. [Launching $ plasma-discover from a terminal on M7 at least produces a collossal amount of garbage output].

Sorry for using the URL. I am not familiar yet with the full process. Thanks for looking at that.

I confirm the same behaviour on M8 Plasma RC1. This was the case since early alpha of M8. I do think there is an issue while Discover refreshes the repositories. Also, that's different from Fedora/Kubuntu behaviour, searching for packages always gives flatpak versions of application. The RPM ones are not displayed. Note that Plasma Discover uses Package lit over DNF as under-the-hood packages management. DNF maintainer inside Mageia should be the assignee to this bug.
