In default Plasma installation under Mageia, telepathy (an instant-messaging framework) is installed and purpose an applet in Plasma systray that is nearly 100% uninstalled (or deactivated). The presence of this framework is disputed as many users uses Konversation (or other tool or use the newer Matrix-client named Neochat, from Plasma devs). This bug report is here to make a public decision on this. As per see in QA ML, there is no objection to drop the default installation, but to still provide the RPMs. Assigning to KDE maintainers,
This should be fixed! dropped telepathy-kde from task-plasma5.
