Description Jerome Quelin 2011-09-21 13:49:45 CEST
in tellico, one can rate a collection item with stars (from 1 to 5)
those stars do not appear in the list any more, and setting the rating doesn't show the stars either.
Comment 1 Jerome Quelin 2011-09-22 14:06:21 CEST
in fact, it's much more than only the stars: all the toolbar icons do not appear. they only appear briefly when hovering over...

could it be related to libpng 1.5 migration?
==> adding funda as cc:

note: tellico has been rebuilt with new lib, so it's not as easy as a rebuild...

$ ldd /usr/bin/tellico |grep png
        libpng15.so.15 => /usr/lib64/libpng15.so.15 (0x00007f280bd2d000)

CC: (none) => fundawang
Summary: tellico doesn't show rating stars any more => tellico doesn't show small icons any more

Comment 2 Jerome Quelin 2011-09-22 15:18:22 CEST

Comment 4 Funda Wang 2011-09-26 16:25:07 CEST
Would you mind removing libpng12_0 at first?
Comment 5 Jerome Quelin 2011-09-28 10:01:00 CEST
removed libpng12_0, but no effect - icons still not showing.
Comment 6 Jerome Quelin 2011-09-29 12:34:52 CEST
issue does not happen with a fresh user. but i don't really understand why, since it's not configuration based?!

(adding mikala since it may be kde related)

Comment 7 John Balcaen 2011-09-29 12:50:27 CEST
just an (probably wrong) idea, did you try to get ride of your user kde cache ?
Comment 8 Jerome Quelin 2011-09-29 13:33:09 CEST
it worked. removing my kde cache made it.
