Description of problem: I have one PC in Mga 8 and another one in mga 7. When I try to make a bidirectionnal synchronisation I have on error message. Server: Fatal error during unmarshaling (input_value: ill-formed message), possibly because client and server have been compiled with different versions of the OCaml compiler. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): in mga 7 unison version has been compiled with ocalm 4.7.1-2 in mga 8 unison version is compiled with ocalm 4.10.0-3 it seems that the OCalm versions after 4.8 are not compatible with previous version. Is it possible to package the same version of unison and ocalm in mageia 7 and mageia 8 please. How reproducible: Make a bidirectional folder synchronization beetween PC (one in mga7 th other one in mga8).
Source RPM: (none) => unison-2.51.2-2.mga7
Thank you for the report. To get round the problem temporarily, rsync should help; but be very careful with the parameters. Reclassifying this as Cauldron since the problem is introduced there; but might be resolved by an update to Mageia 7, so leaving that in place. The SRPM has no evident maintainer, so assigning this globally; CC'ing danf as its last committer.

Mageia 7 is end of support. Sorry we did not have resources to fix this before.
