Description of problem: When running bash, the following error messages are displayed. $ LANGUAGE=C bash bash: /etc/profile.d/60qt5.sh: line 17: syntax error near unexpected token `fi' bash: /etc/profile.d/60qt5.sh: line 17: `fi' $ rpm -qf /etc/profile.d/60qt5.sh qtbase5-common-5.15.2-2.mga8 $ rpm -V $(rpm -qf /etc/profile.d/60qt5.sh) This can be fixed by commenting the line 17 with the lone "fi". Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): qtbase5-common-5.15.2-2.mga8 How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install the package qtbase5-common-5.15.2-2.mga8, if not installed yet. 2. Run bash. 3. See the above mentioned error messages.
Referring to comment 1. System: Mageia 8, x86_64, Plasma DE, LXQt DE, Intel CPU, nVidia GPU using nvidia-current proprietary driver.
Should be fixed in qtbase5-5.15.2-4.mga8.
