Inform 7 is a free app for creating works of interactive fiction, available for MacOS, Windows, Linux and Android. Inside it is a powerful programming language based on English language text. http://inform7.com/ Inform is widely used as a medium for literary writing, as a prototyping tool in the games industry, and in education, both at school and university level (where Inform is often assigned material for courses on digital narrative). It has at various times ranked in the top 100 most influential programming languages according to the TIOBE index, most recently in 2019, and sometimes in the top 50. What we now call Inform is properly Inform 7, but you still sometimes see references to a completely different, lower-level system called Inform 6. This is used as a means to an end lower down in the software stack, but writers can largely forget that it exists.
Component: RPM Packages => New RPM package request
@fabio : thank you for raising this separate bug for this application. Its download page http://inform7.com/downloads/ shows this is very dated: 7.9.3 (build 6M62) - December 2015 and mentions *64-bit* packages for Fedora 22 & OpenSUSE 13.2 but the site is complete (& nice) with a post Jun 7, 2020, so it is ongoing. Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might, if there are no license or other legal issues, want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes. You fabio might also want to join the packager team to maintain this piece of software: see https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Becoming_a_Mageia_Packager
