I have been trying for days to get kdelibs4 and kdebase4-runtime to build (fixing hopefully crashing and build errors). The last time I got successfully kdebase4-runtime to build, it did not take nearly as long, but now it takes 10+ hours and the build system always kills it.
Those packages are broken meinproc4 (from kdelibs4-core) takes 100% cpu for many hours until the build gets finally killed. The timeout is working as expected to prevent such packages to stay in that state forever

I wonder if that's related to the crashes reported in Cauldron with KDE4 apps. One of the things I wanted to try to do to fix that was rebuild kdelibs4, but it won't let me do that either. Do we have a chicken and egg problem, do we need some sort of bootstrap build, or do we need to disable something?
The problem happens while working on the documentation, so disabling the docs would probably help.
Ok, hopefully David and Nicolas can help with that.
Note to self, hopefully once docs are disabled, kdebase4-runtime will build. References I used to hopefully fix it: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-1077084-start-0.html https://github.com/cygwinports/kf5-kio-extras/blob/master/16.08.3-nfs-libtirpc.patch
kdelibs4 and kdebase4-runtime packages rebuilt without docs. Would still be good to find out what's causing doc builds to infinite loop, there may be a bug still lurking that's affecting other things. Closing this though.
