MediaWiki 1.35.0 has been released on September 25:
https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/mediawiki-announce/2020-September/000263.html

It is the new LTS.  Our current 1.31.x branch is EOL in June 2021, so we should update this before Mageia 8.

There's also work to be done for the LDAP Authentication plugin (see Bug 25988).

I updated the mediawiki package, but the LDAP extension still needs to be addressed.
