There is already the nice choice [F1] to boot original kernel :) I suggest a similar choice to skip using an existing persistence partition. ___Use case examples: * You or an update messed it up, but need to start now to just use urgently or to fix it * You find it does not boot on some computer, and want to see if it works with non updated drivers * Want to boot up to backup/restore/sync the memory folder, or change between stored versions of memory or a subfolder * Want to test something and not store changes

With 8-beta2 you can do this by adding mgalive.overlay=ram on the boot command line.
