The last version we had packaged was 0.6.4, which was removed before Mageia 7 when it was no longer buildable, and the obsolete note says it also depending on no-longer-available libraries. If the package can be fixed, we need a maintainer for it to update it.

The current version (0.6.7.2) depends on libbitdht, libretroshare & openpgpsdk (at least) that it builds by vendoring them as submodules. None of them is currently packaged in Mageia. That will take some fiddling to get it all to build according to our policies. RetroShare can also be run as a Flatpak: https://flathub.org/apps/cc.retroshare.retroshare-gui

I too like Flatpak but that one is 2 years old. The Appimage is up to date, at https://retroshare.cc/downloads.html https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Ways_to_install_programs#AppImage
