Description of problem: In the Metadate there is a subpackage defined: %package aptitude Summary: aptitude compatibility with zypper Group: System/Packages Requires: perl Requires: zypper BuildArch: noarch %description aptitude provides compatibility to Debian's aptitude command using zypper This is wrong. It is not a compatibility with apt and apt repositories. Zypper is neither capable of handling deb-packages nor dep-repositories. This is just an interface for apt-users to handle zypper and rpm-repositories.
We don't have zypper 1.14.40 in mga7 nor a pkg called aptitude. $ urpmq -Yf zypper zypper-1.14.16-1.mga7.x86_64 $ urpmq -Yf aptitude No package named aptitude https://svnweb.mageia.org/packages/updates/7/zypper/current/SPECS/zypper.spec?view=markup
Oh dear, sorry. I am tracking a bug in zypper in Cauldron and mixed different packages in the end.
