Description of problem: Recent patch updates from about two days ago that included sonnet updates caused a new error message to be seen from the command line: Hspell: can't open /usr/share/hspell/hebrew.wgz.sizes. kf.sonnet.clients.hspell: HSpellDict::HSpellDict: Init failed This was noted once while trying to watch for fixes for kmail2 bug #27273 This error message appears on the command line as soon as kwrite begins. This was noted the day before in plasma, but right now while plasma is not working, it is seen on the command line when starting kwrite in desktop xcfe How reproducible: Open command line - and start kwrite It also happened once while testing kmail2 before the fix for #27273 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Classic install Mageia8beta1 from USB, set language to English (Canadian), or maybe other language may work too (did not try). 2. Add patches up to about a few days ago before the patches with sonnet were added a few days ago. 3. Open command line and start kwrite - no sonnet error message. 4. Add recent sonnet patches. 5. Open command line and start kwrite 6. stdout/stderr error message indicates Hebrew is missing. (default language is still English as per desktop settings) Maybe some value or something was lost in the patches - and now thinks hebrew is needed, or maybe I should have checked all the rpm edits and kept an old version instead of updating to new version. ...but that's just a guess.
