Description Cyril Levet 2020-08-24 21:17:32 CEST
Description of problem: When installing gnuplot-qt without installing gnuplot, you can launch it from command line but it displays a "Could not start gnuplot_qt with path /usr/libexec/gnuplot/5.2/gnuplot_qt" when you try to ploting something. It is fixed by installing gnuplot.

I think it is the same problem as bugs 27189 but because the consequence are not exactly the same ans I cannot proof they are identical I have opened two bug reports.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnuplot 5.2.8-3

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install gnuplot-qt (without gnuplot)
2. Launch gnuplot-qt in a terminal
3. type "plot x"
