Description Jose Manuel López 2020-08-10 19:42:43 CEST
Description of problem: I have tried to send an application to the panel and the system creates the launcher, but not from the application I have selected.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia 8 Beta 1 XFCE X86_64

How reproducible: Go to applications menu. Select a application and select "Add to panel" option

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to applications menu
2. Select a application
3. Select "Add to panel". The system add other application that isn't the selected.

This is not true on my system. Running Xfce:
- Click the Mageia menu
- Choose a category
- Right-click an application
- Select 'Add to Panel'
- Choose the panel from the drop-down list offered
- The application icon appears *on the right-hand side of the panel*, not where I expected it on the LH side. Maybe *that* is the fault; need to compare M7.
- The icon is the correct one, and works.

Await your feedback.

I think there must be some kind of error in the panel, which has been left when configuring it.

I have created another new panel, adding the elements as I had in the initial panel and now it works fine.

We can close the bug
