It looks like there is some undocumented trickery in updating radeon-firmware, as it now has files that conflict with kernel-firmware.

My bad, I'll try to cook up some patches for it tonight / tomorrow

MGA7-64 Plasma on Lenovo B50
No installation issues.
No issues afer rebooting on this Intel-graphics and -wifi laptp. The latop has dual graphics Intel - Radeon, but I never got the latter to work.
OK asfar as I go.

i5-2500, 16GB RAM, integrated Intel video, wired Internet connection, 64-bit Plasma system.

I don't believe any of the hardware on this system is supposed to be affected by this update, but I have used it for two days now anyway and haven't seen any regressions.

Comment 9 Thomas Andrews 2020-08-11 14:25:20 CEST
HP Probook 6550b, i3, integrated Intel video, Intel wifi, 64-bit Plasma system.

No installation issues. This system does use the iwlwifi package, but the chip is older and I don't know if it's supposed to be affected by the changes. And indeed, I don't see any regressions, so it's OK on this hardware.
