Description of problem: There is no correct icon shown for qalculate-gtk. Depending on the situation, what is shown is either a generic gear icon or a missing/broken symbol icon. Cause: the file /usr/share/applications/qalculate-gtk.desktop references its icon as: Icon=/usr/share/pixmaps/qalculate.png but that file doesn't exist (neither on the system nor inside the qalculate-gtk package nor in any other package as far as urpmf would tell. Instead, the qalculate-gtk package contains a selection of other icon files: /usr/share/icons/hicolor/128x128/apps/qalculate.png /usr/share/icons/hicolor/16x16/apps/qalculate.png /usr/share/icons/hicolor/22x22/apps/qalculate.png /usr/share/icons/hicolor/24x24/apps/qalculate.png /usr/share/icons/hicolor/256x256/apps/qalculate.png /usr/share/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps/qalculate.png /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/qalculate.png /usr/share/icons/hicolor/64x64/apps/qalculate.png /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/qalculate.svg Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install qalculate-gtk 2. have a look at its menu entry in lxde start menu: the app's icon there is a generic gear symbol. 3. add it to lxpanel's application launch bar. Here the app's icon is a generic broken/missing symbol
Fixed with qalculate-gtk-3.11.0-2.mga8.
