Description of problem:

Just do a simple install of kdenlive

Open and select Render
The Format selection field for Generic MP4
Select MP4 - the dominating format (H264/AAC)
A warning at the bottom of window states:
  "Unsupported video codec: libx264"

kdenlive will not render to mp4 format

You don't even have to have a video in the edit lines
or a project open.

Installed:

[root@localhost wilcal]# urpmi lib64x264_155
