Description of problem:
net_applet hover shows "Connecting..." while WiFi is up and working just fine.

How reproducible:  First noticed moments ago.

"ps faux" includes:

Can you confirm that it is consistent ?
drakx-net (which provides draknetcenter) has not been updated for about a year, so it is surprising nobody has complained before.
Do you agree with the bug title change (for clarification) ?

Happened once.  Reported it as the issue was ongoing.  Managed to kill parent process 3691, logout and log back in and it's been OK since.  No idea why process 7572 went defunct...

Closing for now.
