Description of problem: The LSB printing tests check for /usr/share/ppd, as it's required. This can be missing if one doesn't have one of the packages that provides it (cups, hplip*). Perhaps it would be better to make this part of filesystem, as it doesn't really make sense to pull in one of these other packages as an LSB dependency. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I add the maintainer of cups and hplib in cc list

(In reply to comment #3) > i don't see any pb with this and would vote for Are there any rules for such changes? Can this now be done in cauldron, or does it first need to be discussed more? cc'ing maintainer of filesystem

Cauldron I assume you mean. For some reason I don't have it: [stew@acer ~]$ ssh cauldron-32 Last login: Tue Mar 13 05:38:34 2012 from acer.e-artisan.org [stew@cauldron-32 ~]$ rpm -q filesystem filesystem-2.1.9-16.mga2 [stew@cauldron-32 ~]$ rpm -qf /usr/share/ppd error: file /usr/share/ppd: No such file or directory [stew@cauldron-32 ~]$ rpm -ql filesystem | grep ppd /usr/local/share/ppd

Really fix this time (-17.mga).
