PHP 7.3 is still supported and as mga policy states we don't push new major versions as updates. Pushing updates to backports don't get validated very quickly.
i need to find the procedure for backport move :-) and i do it
I'm glad to see, I'm not the only one searching for the right document in the wiki ;)

@Nico: you didn't move all needed packages from backports! See http://distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr/pub/linux/Mageia/distrib/7/x86_64/media/core/backports_testing/ Many people need e.g. php-ast, php-imagick, php-igbinary, ... You have to move these packages accordingly.

Well, thats "your fault" since: you as a packager needs to for testers: list _all_ rpms that need to be tested and for sysadmins you need to: list all srpms that needs moving (as "we" move packages based on srpms)
Sorry. One of those things I didn't know. Next time I'll write an advisory like we do for regular updates. Thanks for moving.
