Description Eduardo Mestre 2020-05-22 23:49:35 CEST
Description of problem:

The kernel-desktop-devel-$VERSION.mga7-1-1.mga7 package should depend on the kernel-desktop-$VERSION.mga7-1-1.mga7 package

The same would apply to the desktop, laptop or server versions of the kernel.

So by uninstalling a kernel version you would also uninstall its relative devel package

Thank you for the suggestion.

Assigning to the kernel team.

No.
This is by design.

We allow the devel packages to be installed separately so kmods can be prebuilt without having to install the kernels.
