Description of problem: When plugging on my wired cable, the connection does not set-up, and I get every minute a "Activation of network connection failed" pop-up in my Gnome desktop environment. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Linux 5.5.15-desktop-3.mga7 #1 SMP Sat Apr 4 20:17:59 UTC 2020 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Since the updates of two days ago, My wired Ethernet connection is not setting up. Yet, the Wi-Fi connection still works. The system "journalctl -n xxx" is silent about it. I can provide more logs if needed.

Sorry for the mess. It was my second switch that went amok. I tested my line on two different equipments. Rebooting the beast fixed the issue. Sorry for the noise.
