I added Core Updates Testing - Distro5 to the media. I deleted the existing Lskat, and got the following warnings: ----- The following packages have to be removed for others to be upgraded: - lskat-19.04.0-1.mga7.x86_64 - lskat-handbook-19.04.0-1.mga7.noarch Rpmdrake or one of its priority dependencies needs to be updated first. Rpmdrake will then restart. The following 5 packages are going to be installed: - lib64rpm8-4.14.3-0.rc1.13.mga7.x86_64 - python3-rpm-4.14.3-0.rc1.13.mga7.x86_64 - rpm-4.14.3-0.rc1.13.mga7.x86_64 - rpm-plugin-syslog-4.14.3-0.rc1.13.mga7.x86_64 - rpm-plugin-systemd-inhibit-4.14.3-0.rc1.13.mga7.x86_64 2.9KB of additional disk space will be used. ----- I accepted the changes. ----- I asked to install the 1.1 version of Lskat and got the following warnings: ----- The following 3 packages are going to be installed: - libkdegames-common-19.04.0-1.mga7.noarch - lskat-19.04.0-1.1.mga7.x86_64 - lskat-handbook-19.04.0-1.1.mga7.noarch 34MB of additional disk space will be used. 7MB of packages will be retrieved. Is it ok to continue? ----- I accepted. Said it is ok to continue. ----- It finished the installation. I will report on the testing results soon.
Success I changed themes, changed the card deck, played a game, closed Lskat, opened Lskat, played a second game, and closed Lskat. It looks very good. You may upgrade from the testing repo, and execute the usual processes.
Assigning to QA now, Advisory: ======================== There's a missing required dependency on the lskat package from Mageia 7. If no other packages pulling 'libkdegames-common' are installed on the computer, lskat can't find any card decks. This update adds this missing dependency. ======================== Packages in 7/core/updates_testing: ======================== lskat-19.04.0-1.1.mga7.i586.rpm lskat-19.04.0-1.1.mga7.x86_64.rpm lskat-handbook-19.04.0-1.1.mga7.noarch.rpm Source RPM: ======================== lskat-19.04.0-1.1.mga7.src.rpm

MGA7-64 Plasma on Lenovo B50 no installation issues. No dependency as other kdegames are on this laptop Loads of feedback at LI, but this seems OK. $ lskat org.kde.lskat: Rendering "back" in main thread. org.kde.lskat: Loading front SVG renderer org.kde.lskat: Rendering "back" in main thread. org.kde.lskat: Received render of "Ancient Egyptians_1_club_64_85" from rendering thread. org.kde.lskat: Received render of "Ancient Egyptians_1_heart_64_85" from rendering thread. etc.... Played the game and lost, but it seems to work OK. Leaving OK for someone who can check the dependency.

Removed lskat and libkdegames-common (which took two games out) and then installed lskat again. I can confirm this draws the libkdegames-common back in and the game plays OK. Giving it the go.
