Well, we haven't switched to 5.6 yet :)

MGA7-64 Plasma on Lenovo B50
No installation issues.
Picked from wiki the test procedure for libxml2.
So at CLI:
$ strace -o strace.txt chromium-browser 
Resuting trace file shows call to libxml2.so.2 whichis the expected result.

Not to worry. The way these things seem to go, you'll have us looking at the 5.7 series kernel in no time...  ;-)
