according to : http://www.mageia.org/wiki/doku.php?id=firefox i think we need to test beid-middleware only
One comment, Im not sure if it's mozilla not put a page up yet but when it starts after the update it takes you to a 404 not found rather than the usual congraulations page. Both arch's
x86_64 updates OK. https://www.wageningen.nl/ This Connection is Untrusted https://www.diginotar.nl/ Peer's Certificate has been revoked https://zoek.officielebekendmakingen.nl/ OK
x86_64 beid-middleware installs into firefox and shows in the extensions but I have no way to test it works properly. It would need somebody with the Belgian ID card to test fully. I'll check it installs on i586 too. I'm adding AL13N to CC as he was able to test in previous versions. Thankyou.

beid-middleware installed OK into firefox i586. Once it has been verified by AL13N or anybody else able to, this update is ready to be validated. It seems the 404 is a mozilla problem. There are no release notes yet either, we are ahead of the game with this one :o) http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/6.0.2/releasenotes/ Advisory: ------------------- Firefox 6.0.2 provides a better solution for the DigiNotar root certificate issue and fixes a regression with gov.uk domains not displaying properly in the location bar: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases/Firefox_6.0.2 ------------------- Source RPM: firefox-6.0.2-0.mga1.src.rpm Thanks!

Mozilla has done that before (re-releasing "final" tarballs)

Hello, Tested firefox-6.0.2-0.mga1 on Mageia release 1 (Official) for x86_64 and for me it's Ok. Nothing to report. ->For the StartupNotify ,still Ok. ->And for the French dictionary, nothing to report, still OK. ->Also,I test the flash-player-plugin11 in cauldron deposit and it's Ok: flash-player-plugin11-kde-11.0.1.98-0.b2.080811.2.mga2.nonfree flash-player-plugin11-11.0.1.98-0.b2.080811.2.mga2.nonfree ->For extension "ext" I don't know because I use "xpi" extension and it works perfectly. A big thank you to D Morgan ,for this great job quickly and efficiently.

beid-middleware works, but i would hold off releasing until the 6.0.2 page is actually there, because i get an error page after updating... when it's effectively release, i think it's best if the tarball is checksummed to see if it's actually modified, if it is, we'll have to update it and retest everything

still no release notes, maybe we can still update this package WDYT ?
I would wait as we can't be sure if they ship the same thing.

can someone of you go on mozilla irc and ask ? this is an update sec so i would like this to go quickly ;)
manual confirmation is good enough for me, especially since it's been tested
Firefox 6.0.2 is now officially released, and the upstream package has not changed, so its now ok to push.
in fact i need to update again rootcerts first, and push back nss, and firefox. i will do it soon
