As stated by lxqt maintainers, this is an kde (solid) issue, which causes the battery and powermanagement not to recognize the current battery level. Since it does not recognize the current state, an laptop suddenly powers off. It seems to happen mostly on thinkpad hardware.
Thank you for the report, and the URL. For those of us not in this boat, solid-5.57.0-1.mga7 and lib64kf5solid5-5.57.0-1.mga7 say "KDE Frameworks 5 Tier 1 integration module that provides hardware information" The thread given in URL is very recent, and this comment: https://github.com/lxqt/lxqt/issues/1761#issuecomment-587133018 says "We may need to wait until solid is upgraded to ≥ 5.67.0 on your system. 5.57.0 is too old"; and the following one "still I can be sure only of 5.67.0". So looks like an update needed for 'solid'. Assigning to NicolasL as being the active maintainer of this package.
