I've tried the new version in Mageia 7 an 8 VirtualBox x64, works fine, favorites, preferences, settings, addons.

Updated this, Thunderbird, and the packages in Bug 26104 all at the same time. (Thunderbird is dependent on one package in 26104)

All packages installed cleanly. Ran Firefox, visited several websites, all ran as they should.

OK on this hardware.

Nicolas, it looks like you just disabled system libvpx.  Did you mean to?

In fact it was already disabled (the line was commented).  I just synchronized a bit the spec file with the one from firefox-beta.

Perhaps we should try enabling system libvpx again.  The comment that was there looked like that had originally been disabled because the system version in mga5 was too old, but I doubt that's an issue now.

The system from Comment 2 seems to be working OK, too.

In fact, it was disabled by tmb in firefox 64 when system libvpx was updated to 1.8 because firefox does not support a newer version than 1.7.  See:
